Key Responsibilities

As an HR Senior Officer – Learning and Development (Retainer), you will play a crucial role in shaping the professional growth of UNOPS personnel. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing learning and development strategies.
  • Conducting training needs assessments and creating tailored training programs.
  • Facilitating workshops and virtual learning sessions.
  • Developing e-learning modules and knowledge-sharing tools.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making improvements.
  • Collaborating with different departments to align training initiatives with organizational goals.

Who Can Apply?

The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following qualifications:

  • A university degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in learning and development, HR training, or capacity-building initiatives.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably within international organizations or the UN system.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and instructional design skills.
  • Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and e-learning tools.
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of another UN language is an asset).
