- Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant experience in sustainable land management, desertification research, or policy advisory roles
- Technical Skills: Strong research and data analysis skills, familiarity with GIS tools, and expertise in land degradation monitoring
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, cross-cultural collaboration, and project management abilities
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of other UN languages (such as French or Spanish) is considered a plus
