Internship Opportunity

Join World Vision’s dynamic Corporate Services team as an intern and contribute to our mission of delivering essential administrative and facility management services to global offices. Services include but are not limited to courier services, facilities management, occupancy planning, health & safety, and the creation of standard operating procedures. Providing these services allows departments to focus on their respective ministries and functions efficiently, effectively, and safely. The Corporate Services strategic goal is to manage, develop, enhance, and streamline all administrative and facility processes to ensure the highest quality of service to all who enter our facilities and align with our global strategy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Project Management: Coordinate project timelines, goals, and deliverables across departments and global offices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Technology Integration: Research, develop, and implement innovative technological solutions to streamline administrative processes and support global operations.
  • Occupancy Planning: Assist in the implementation of best practices for space utilization and facility management across diverse global locations.
  • Event/Chapel Coordination: Support planning and execution efforts for large-scale events, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline constraints.

What You Need to Know:

Details

  • Internship Location: In-person from World Vision’s Monrovia, California, Office.
  • Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, Hospitality, or related fields are preferred but not necessary.
  • Internship Cohort Dates: 27 May – 22 August. 
  • Stipend: This internship is unpaid, but all US-based interns receive a monthly stipend of $800.
  • Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week)

Eligibility

All candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident or F1-student visa) and have a valid US Social Security Number.
  • Able to commit to at least 24 hours per week for the entire internship period: 27 May – 22 August. 
  • Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years).
  • Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
  • Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
