Tips for a Strong Application
- Showcase any social media or digital content you’ve created — campaigns you’ve run, trending topics you’ve tracked, or analytics you’ve examined.
- Emphasise your organisational and multitasking skills: highlight times you managed competing priorities, deadlines, or editorial workflows.
- Connect your motivation to social justice explicitly: explain why you care about gender equality, climate action, or economic justice.
- Highlight media or communications experience such as working with journalists, managing content, editing, or using asset-management systems.
- Use concrete examples: instead of saying “I’m interested in digital media,” say “I managed a campaign that increased engagement by 30%.”
- Tailor your materials to reflect the organisation’s values — teamwork, respect, and problem-solving for global impact.
