Overview of the Consultancy Role
The consultancy aims to strengthen UNICEF’s collaboration with three to four foundation partners supporting child-focused initiatives in ESAR. These foundations play a growing role in mobilizing resources, driving innovation and supporting program delivery. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination between UNICEF and these partners, maintaining high-quality communication, and ensuring that partnership activities remain aligned with UNICEF’s regional strategies.
A significant component of the assignment involves knowledge management. The consultant will gather, analyse and package lessons, case studies and data from across the region. This knowledge will help UNICEF make informed decisions, strengthen relationships with foundations and ensure that best practices are shared with country offices. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to research activities, helping to assess the impact of foundation support and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
