A Dynamic Role Supporting Real Climate Policy Work
The U.S. Climate Alliance Secretariat is looking for an intern capable of supporting its wide range of activities, from policy development to coordination with member states. The selected intern will work closely with Alliance staff, consultants, external partners, and state representatives. This integrated environment exposes interns to the collaborative dynamics that drive climate progress across diverse jurisdictions.
A significant part of the internship involves researching state-level implementation of climate policies, especially concerning the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The IRA offers historic levels of federal climate funding, and states are crucial to maximizing its impact. Intern responsibilities include analyzing trends, evaluating challenges, and helping communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
