Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting the Integrated Talent Management Division (ITMD) of the Department of Human Resources Management. This division focuses on initiatives to help IOM identify, attract, develop, and retain skilled personnel needed to fulfill the organization’s mission.
Core responsibilities include:
- Staff Mobility Support: Maintain eligibility lists for staff mobility cycles, handle documentation, issue notifications and decisions, and manage the dedicated mobility mailbox. These tasks ensure that mobility processes run efficiently and transparently for all staff members involved.
- Pathways Pool Assistance: Provide logistical and administrative support for events and assessments connected to talent pathways and development pools.
- Communications: Oversee and update the workforce planning SharePoint and related communication channels, ensuring that information is timely and accessible globally.
These responsibilities require accuracy, strong organization, and excellent communication skills to coordinate smoothly across different platforms and teams.
Qualifications and Skills
The position is accessible to candidates who have either:
- A high school diploma and at least five years of relevant professional experience, or
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or related field) with three years of relevant experience.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:
- Experience with administrative support in large organizations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools like Teams and SharePoint
- Fluency in English, while proficiency in French or another UN language (Spanish, Arabic, Russian, or Chinese) is a strong advantage
