Key Responsibilities
The internship runs for eight months and includes duties such as:
- Preparing and organizing shipping documents and customs paperwork
- Assisting with the preparation of Ethiopian Customs Declarations (ECDs)
- Coordinating with clearing and forwarding agents to track document submission
- Monitoring shipment arrival statuses and keeping WFP systems updated
- Filing, archiving, and retrieving logistics documents
- Following up on the closure of customs declarations and container guarantees
- Supporting logistics record-keeping and quantity reconciliations
- Assisting with administrative tasks as assigned
