The Multimedia Production Intern Role
The Multimedia Production Intern position is based within MSF’s Communications team and is designed for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in professional multimedia production. Rather than focusing on marketing alone, this role supports authentic storytelling that highlights the realities faced by patients, medical staff, and communities affected by crises.
Interns play an active role throughout the production process, from pre-production planning to post-production editing. The position provides meaningful exposure to professional workflows while allowing interns to develop creative confidence in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Multimedia Production Intern, you will support the creation of engaging video and audiovisual content for MSF’s digital platforms. Core responsibilities include assisting with filming and editing video projects, contributing to video podcasts, and helping produce content tailored for social media and online audiences.
The role also involves organising audiovisual assets, supporting multimedia aspects of internal and public events, and assisting with analytics and reporting to help measure audience engagement. Collaboration is a key part of the internship, as interns work closely with communications specialists, editors, and content strategists to deliver impactful stories.
