Key Responsibilities: Where Policy Meets Technology
The Protection Research and Information Management Officer will lead the strategic development and integration of both platforms. Core duties include:
Technical and Platform Development
- Coordinate interoperability between RiMAP, Refworld, and other UNHCR systems
- Oversee enhancements in usability and search features
- Work with tech teams on backend improvements
- Explore AI‑driven solutions to elevate user experience
Content Expansion & Quality Control
- Lead expansion of RiMAP’s country law analyses across rights categories
- Manage the growth of Refworld’s collections including legal instruments, case law, and policy materials
- Ensure multilingual content updates, including English, Spanish, and Russian
Partnerships & Outreach
- Foster collaborations with universities, law firms, and UN partners
- Promote the platforms internally and externally via newsletters, social media, and outreach campaigns
