Job Title: Hatchery Assistant, Monarto, South Australia 

Company: Ingham 

This is a part-time role where you will cover various shifts and weekend work as and when the need arises in order to support the hatchery team. This would be likely be 4 – 5 days and anywhere between 30 to 32 hours per week.

Your duties: You’ll be in charge of ensuring that all livestock is treated humanely, and in compliance with Ingham’s Minimum Standard Procedures.

Your work will also include processing and inspecting eggs and chicken safely and systematically, according to quality specification. You will also do manual handling duties.

The Lost Dogs’ Home is one of Australia’s most iconic animal welfare organisations, caring for tens thousands of lost and abandoned dogs and cats each year.

Your Role: As we head into our peak summer season, the Lost Dog’s Home have opportunities for experienced pet Attendants to join them on a 4-month fixed term contract, from December to 30 April 2023. 

Currently they are looking for Animal Attendants to work 60 hours per fortnight, but may be able to be flexible for the right candidates.

The role of the Animal Attendant is to ensure the animals in the shelter are provided with the highest level of day-to-day care, which includes cleaning, feeding and animal enrichment.
