FAWEZI is a Non-Governmental Organization established in 1998 and registered as a PVO in 1999.
It is an affiliate of the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), a Pan-African Non-Governmental Organization based in Nairobi Kenya. FAWEZI works with communities, schools, civil society, NGOS and ministries to achieve gender equity and equality in education through targeted programs.
Our work influences government policy builds public awareness, demonstrates the best educational practice through effective models, and encourages the adoption of these models by governments and institutions of education.
Summary of duties and responsibilities FAWEZI is looking for a part-time driver. A pool of qualified drivers will be created.
The Driver is expected to drive the project vehicle to project locations as required, run general upkeep of the project vehicle and equipment; keep the project vehicle clean; fill out and check the log sheet and mileage of the vehicle; report any mechanical problems, plan and inform the Supervisor about necessary car services; any other duties as and when required by the Supervisor/National Coordinator Minimum qualification and experience At least 5 years’ experience in development cooperation with verifiable references; Languages English and one local language; good communication skills; Clean class 4 drivers license with at least 7 years driving experience, defensive driving certificate and health certificate
