Program Overview

This Program is opening for students with less privileged social and financial backgrounds. The successful candidates receive academic, professional,leadership and development resources. The last intake accommodated over 16 000 students from 130 countries. The students are given fully funded Harvard course materials, live seminars and self assessment tools.

Eligibility Criteria

• Your parents must not be degree holders
• Between 18 and 26 years of age
• Coming from a low income background
• Be a current student or Fresh Graduate
• Students with academics disrupted by natural disasters and conflict are encouraged to apply
• Fluency in English

The program is in multiple stages and all stages of this program are delivered on-line. The stages are as follows:

Stages 1 to 3

• Recommendations for improvement and machine learning based skills assessment
• Fully funded Harvard Courses
• Interactive, live sessions with world class educators from leading institutions in a range of disciplines

Stage 4

• Successful candidates will partake in professional development workshops and come up with an application for stage 5 that includes:

• Resume
• Two recommendation letters
• Academic transcript
• Personal Statement
• Video Interview

Stage 5

This is the immersive learning stage

1. Gain access to Alumni Network initiative and Extended Leadership Opportunities
2. Case study based curricula intensive final cohort programe

This is an extremely competitive program so you are encouraged to apply as early as possible.  If submit your application by January 11 2023, you will be admitted to Stage 1 on a rolling basis and continue from there. Once accepted to the Aspire Leaders initiative, students will continue through a multi-stage selection process, culminating in the finalist initiative, delivered virtually. This occurs 4-5 months after the application deadline.
