Key Responsibilities

FAO interns are placed in various departments based on their academic background and interests. Key responsibilities may include:

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the FAO Internship Programme in 2025, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate degree program or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months)
  • Be between 21 and 30 years of age at the time of application
  • Have a working knowledge of at least one FAO language (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian)
  • Possess strong communication skills and an interest in international development
  • Have a valid health insurance policy
