Ptarmigan Inn Hotels Ltd is Hay River’s premier full-service hotel conveniently located in the downtown area. We feature 3 large boardrooms along with full-service catering, and onsite gym, Fitness4All. As well, we offer a many dining options, Keys Dining and Doghouse Pub right in the hotel, and Back Eddy Lounge & Grill just down the road.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Perform laundry duties as necessary
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and managers
• Flexible schedule
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs on a regular basis
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time

· Criminal Record Check required

This position is limited to Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or individuals in possession of an open work permit. If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, the employer will not consider your job application.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
