Rolls Royce is hiring an experienced Head of GBS Finance Operations at their location. The Head of GBS Finance Operations, manages and coordinates the delivery of financial operations for all the Company’s legal entities through various business processes.

What will you be doing:
Record to Report (Reporting; Asset Management; Cash Management)
Order to Cash (Credit / Collection; Order Management; Billing, Cash Application, Customer Master)
Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable, Corporate Card Administration, Expense Report Processing, Vendor Master)
Pay Team Members (Payroll)
Main responsibilities include:
FINANCE
Maintain financial systems (Twinfield and Salesforce) that record and report on financial activities and provide information and projections to allow strategic and operational decision -making. This includes management accounts, budgets and forecasts and reports on activity, for both the operational costs of
Access as well as the fund reporting for the programmes run by Access (The Growth Fund and Capacity Building programmes).
Support the development of the annual budget (and subsequent quarterly forecasts) in conjunction with CEO and ensure the ongoing adherence and management of these budgets/forecasts.

Working with the Finance and Operations Assistant, execute payment, invoicing, book keeping and banking activities, maintaining up to date computerised records and maximising use of the software system (Twinfield).
Ensure annual VAT return is completed on a timely basis, and payments are made in accordance with the agreed schedule.
Manage the relationship with Access’ external auditors and manage the year end process, external audit, preparation of annual financial statements and signoff from relevant stakeholders.
Manage the relationship with Access’ asset manager and ensure the endowment investment policy/strategy is being implemented. Organise and contribute to the regular endowment investment committee meetings.
Qualifications for this Job:
Advanced University degree in Business Administration and/or Management, Finance. MBA, BBA, CPA, CA, CMA, CIMA or equivalent degree in finance or accounting.
15-18 years of relevant experience in coordinating, leading and/or managing Operations and Service Delivery, with 8-10 years in a managerial role.
Hands-on experience in building and expanding GBS Finance Operations and managing transitions and stabilized FSC operations

Exposure to global, matrix driven organization with complex core solutions (multi business/ multi stakeholder)
Pro-active, goal-oriented candidate, motivated by quality and meeting deadlines, knowledge of finance business process and ERP systems (SAP) and has previous experience in a Senior Financial Management role leading a team
Essential skills and key personal attributes include:
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and systems with relevant
accounting qualification
Knowledge of statutory and legal requirements, ideally relating to a charitable
organisation
Proven ability to work on own initiative, prioritise competing demands and work
to deadlines

Experience of managing across a range of functions/discipline
Evidence of ability to use financial programmes/software
An understanding of the importance of and evidence of the ability to
communicate financial and other complex information in a way that is easy to
understand to non-financial users
Strong IT skills, especially with sound experience of the MS Office Suite
Excellent written and literacy skills
First class organisational skills, good attention to detail and accuracy are
essential
