Program Overview

For the academic year 2024–2025, the University of Arizona will award scholarships to its international undergraduate and transfer students. The Global Wildcat Scholarships at the University of Arizona provide grants of $5,000 to $23,000.

Candidates can submit an application for the Global Wildcat Scholarship at everywhere.arizona.edu/apply/undergraduate on the University of Arizona website.

The amount of the scholarship will be distributed after deducting the applicable year’s tuition. The prize rises up to a reward of $23,000 for students who maintain a GPA of 4.0 at the time of application, starting at a reward of $5,000 for students with a GPA of 3.0 and above.

A select number of international undergraduate students enrolling at the University of Arizona receive the Global Wildcat Award each year. At the time of submission, their application automatically qualifies them for the award.

In addition to maintaining a certain GPA, applicants must “demonstrate exceptional academic achievements” and test results from the TOEFL, IELTS, and PTE academic in order to be considered for the grant.

Once chosen, students who satisfy the requirements for the Global Wildcat Award scholarship will be notified by email.
