Job Summary Veer Freight Private Limited Is Looking For A Well Experienced and Qualified Operations Supervisor To Join Their Company. Duties And Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Planning ●To establish effectively and work processes and procedures for Harare Operations.
●To implement Work instructions for all the work processes.
● To ensure resource availability for office operations and managing costs. Operations Management
●To effectively delegate responsibilities in a structured manner which allows smooth flow of work.
●To implement an effective resolution system e.g for seizures, tariff rulings, value rulings and legal matters relating to office functions.
●To ensure proper performance indicators through appropriate registers.
●To adhere to disbursement policy and assist with the timeous recovery of outlaid monies.
●Maintain and update a schedule of legislation for the office. Internal Quality Processes
●Establishing and maintaining service level Agreements and service standards.
●Complying with legal, statutory and license requirements.
● Establishing and maintaining effective and efficient work processes. Customer Relations Management
●To collect and analyze data on various operational aspects to enable control of non-conformities.
●To maintain effective complaints and compliments register
●To follow up on and resolve all customer complaints.
●Implement a preventive and corrective system for non-conformities. People Management
●To attend to all staff welfare issues arising in the Harare Operations office
●To identify training needs to ensure the appropriate interventions are undertaken.
●To administer the leave policy and ensure all staff takes planned to leave.
●To effectively administer the Company’s performance management system.
●Supervising and allocating work to staff.
●To administer discipline among the Harare Operations staff Selling & Sales Management
●To come up with a weekly/monthly sales plan
●Circulate the plan to all managers in case they want to join you
●Book for meetings with prospective clients
●Circulate the booking times with other managers in case they want to join you
●Meet with prospective clients and sell the business.
●Keep noted of the meetings and send meeting feedback to meet customers
●For business gained send all customer expectations and agreed terms as per new customer handling procedure
●Monitor contract drafting and finalization of your customers
●Monitor client performance, customer care and making sure company is performing as expected by client. Qualifications And Experience Desirable Requirements

●Diploma in Forwarding Practice, Diploma in Customs Procedures and / any Shipping qualifications recognized by the Ministry of Tertiary Education.
●Clean class 4 Drivers License
●A minimum of 5 years (hands-on) experience in Customs Clearance, Freight forwarding working as an Operations Supervisor for a reputable institution.
●5 O` levels including Maths and English
