Program Overview

Employees with excellent guest services skills serving meals and drinks in restaurants onboard cruise ships. The Host/Hostess manages restaurant reservations and controls the flow of guests into the restaurants. The Host/Hostess acts as a contact for guests coming into dining venues, assuming responsibility for reservations and seating assignments.

The Host/Hostess is also responsible for generating any number of financial and operational reports for the restaurant operation, as well as administrative duties. The Host/Hostess may also be assigned additional duties such as rolling silverware, polishing glassware, and other duties related to the preparation of dining venues.
