What You need to Apply for WHO Internships

The World Health Organisation has put in place its eligibility criteria for its Internship program. See if you qualify to apply:

  • Educational Requirements

All applicants must either be enrolled in a degree program in a related field at any level, undergraduate, Masters or PhD or applicants must have completed their formal higher education within 6 months before the time of application

  • Language

Applicants are required to be fluent in one language(at least) in use of the office being applied to.

  • Age Requirements

Applicants must be at least 20 years when they place an application

  • Personal Attributes

Prioritising tasks, time management and meeting deadlines are non negotiable personal qualities for this program. Applicants must also show proof of the medical certificate of fitness from WHO .

  • Nationality

The applicant must be a holder of a valid passport of a WHO member state.

  • You can only participate in a WHO internship program once and can never again apply.
  • Applicants are barred from having immediate family members working at WHO.
