Key Responsibilities

As an ILO intern, your tasks will depend on the department you’re placed in, but may include:

🔹 Policy Research & Analysis – Conduct studies on global labor market trends, gender equality, employment laws, and social protection programs.
🔹 Data Collection & Reporting – Support the compilation of labor statistics, economic reports, and case studies.
🔹 Project Support – Assist in the implementation and monitoring of ILO programs in different regions.

Who Can Apply?

Education – Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate (Master’s/PhD) program or have completed their studies within the past year. Fields of study include International Relations, Economics, Law, Political Science, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
Language Requirements – Fluency in English or French is required; knowledge of Spanish or other UN languages is an advantage.
Skills & Experience – Strong analytical, research, and writing skills are highly valued. Prior experience in labor rights, human rights, or social policy is beneficial.
Commitment – Internships typically last 3 to 6 months and are full-time.
