The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. We work with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated and well supported UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism. UNV is administered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and reports to the UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPS Executive Board. Context
The United Nations Volunteers aims to collect evidence-based information about the United Nations Volunteers visibility level and candidates behavior in terms of job searching and using of social media in Timor-Leste. The study will provide actionable recommendations for future development of talent outreach strategy in Timor-Leste. To that end, we are seeking to collaborate with qualified Online Volunteers specifically on survey dissemination and data collection to targeted group of respondents.

Task description
We are currently seeking the assistance of 10 Online Volunteers. Your responsibilities will include: – Help disseminate the survey in Timor-Leste and collect responses – Conduct data collection using defined methodology – Successful applicants will be required to join virtual orientation Expected Output/Deliverables: – Each Online Volunteer is expected to reach out to at least 30 respondents from the allocated group, throughout the assignment duration. – Submit record/evidence of survey dissemination and respondents reached by regularly updating the UNV Regional Talent Acquisition Focal Point. – There will be an opportunity for the selected volunteers to provide coordination support on a team of Online Volunteers. Your diligent record-keeping of dissemination efforts will enable us to continue the work you started. Remark : One Online Volunteer would be selected to provide coordination support in managing the online volunteers engagement under this assignment. Successful candidates will be invited to an online induction to receive further guidance and details of the assignment.

Required experience
– Strong research skills and experience in collecting and analyzing data – Have active account in social media and willing to make the social media account “Public”. For example, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and relevant local social media
