Key Responsibilities

As a UN Women Consultant, your responsibilities may include:

🔹 Policy Development – Conduct research and draft policies on women’s rights, gender equality, and economic empowerment.
🔹 Program Design & Implementation – Assist in developing, monitoring, and evaluating gender-focused initiatives.
🔹 Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with governments, NGOs, and international agencies to promote gender-focused policies.
🔹 Research & Data Analysis – Provide expert insights on issues like gender-based violence, pay gaps, and women’s leadership.
🔹 Advocacy & Communication – Develop campaigns, reports, and training materials to raise awareness of gender equality issues.
🔹 Capacity Building & Training – Conduct workshops to educate organizations, businesses, and governments on gender-sensitive policies.

Who Can Apply?

Education: A Master’s or PhD in Gender Studies, International Relations, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, or related fields.
Work Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of experience in gender policy, human rights, social justice, or women’s economic empowerment.
Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French, Spanish, Arabic, or other UN languages is an advantage.
Technical Expertise: Knowledge of gender mainstreaming, gender-based violence prevention, or women’s leadership programs.
Research & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze gender-related issues and provide policy recommendations.
