Key Responsibilities
As a Programme Associate, your main duties will include:
- Supporting the planning and implementation of development projects
- Assisting with research, reporting, and documentation
- Coordinating with government counterparts, NGOs, and other stakeholders
- Managing budgets, procurement, and administrative tasks
- Monitoring project progress and preparing evaluation reports
- Providing logistical and operational support for programme activities
Who Can Apply?
The UNDP seeks candidates who are:
- Experienced: A minimum of 6 years of relevant administrative or programme experience (or 3 years with a Bachelor’s degree)
- Educated: High school diploma required; a university degree in development studies, international relations, or related fields is an asset
- Skilled: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Multilingual: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
