Colombia Government Scholarships are available for the academic year of 2023-2024. Foreign students can apply for Master’s, Doctorate, and specialization and also get free Spanish Language courses under their Scholarship schemes.

The Colombia Government Scholarships are funded by the ICETEX (institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad). These scholarships are fully funded and offer a great deal of benefits to its recipients. The best part for foreigners is that they don’t need to submit IELTS for their Language proficiency. You will get almost all expenses coverage from the Colombian Government, including tuition fees, visa support, medical insurance, and books allowance will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria

There are certain rules and eligibility criteria that every applicant must follow before applying for Colombia Government Scholarships. For instance;

• You must be a Foreign student.
• You are not eligible to apply if you are a Colombian resident.
• You must not be related to or have a marital relationship in Colombia.
• You must hold a degree in the undergraduate or graduate program.
• You are eligible to apply for up to three-degree programs.
• You are not required to submit IELTS.

• Spanish Language Proficiency certificate

• Academic transcripts (Notarized copies)
