PRESIDENTIAL AND NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION – ZIMBABWE BILATERAL SCHOLARSHIPS : 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Presidential and National Scholarships Department in the Office of the President and Cabinet invites applications for the Russian Federation – Zimbabwe Bilateral Scholarships for the 2022/2023 academic year. The scholarships target able but disadvantaged talented and academically gifted students mainly in Rural Schools in remote districts of the country’s 10 Provinces , intending to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at foreign universities , These applications are open for selection for Presidential and all Zimbabwe Bilateral Scholarships on offer in the following disciplines

PRESIDENTIAL AND NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION - ZIMBABWE BILATERAL SCHOLARSHIPS : 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR 3

Preference will be given to applicants who satisfy the following criteria

  1. Undergraduate Applicants(for the zimbabwe bilateral scholarships) for non science disciplines should have a minimum of 10 points at A Level in subjects that are relevant to the chosen degree programme and must be 25 years of age and below by 31 December 2022
  2. Undergraduate applicants for Science and Technology Disciplines should have A or B in relevant A Level Science subjects
  3. Masters and Phd applicants should have either First Class or Upper Second Class Degree Classification in the relevant field of study . Masters Applicants should be below 35 years of age , and PhD applicants should be below 45 years of Age by 31 December 2022
  4. All selected candidates shall be required to undergo a thorough Medical Check-up from reputable medical practioners

Zimbabwe bilateral scholarships Interested Candidates should present the following

  1. An application letter specifying the preferred undergraduate or post graduate degree programme in the area of study of your own choice. Give at least 2 choices
  2. Motivation letter (giving the applicant’s background and justification on why one is worthy being selected and raytionale for studying in Russia)
  3. Two reference letters , each from different persons or institutions
  4. Copies of certified A Level and O Level Certificates
  5. Copies of certified Degree Certificates and Transcripts in the case of Masters and PhD candidates
  6. Copies of certified birth and ID Certificates
  7. A CV, which clearly shows the District of origin as shown on Birth certificate or Nationa Identification Card and at least 3 contact phone/ cell numbers
  8. Copy of bio-data page of a valid passport (valid not less than 18 months) or proof of an application for a passport
  9. Submitted applications that have met the deadline and the above requirements will remain valid until 31 December 2022

NB

  • Applications submitted through third parties will not be accepted
  • All applications should be submitted in person or by courier services to the above address.
  • Applicants with no masks and identification cards will not be allowed entry into the building and permitted applicants will be ordered to maintain social distance as they submit
  • If already enrolled at any university ,disclose
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide a Police Clearance Certificate , and Medical Examination Certificate
  • Closing Date for Submission of applications is 04 October 2021
  • No Late submissions will be entertained
  • Only successful applicants will be contacted and notified accordingly
