Program Overview
Also known as a security officer, security guards are responsible for protecting property or individuals by patrolling and acting as access control for visitors.
G Force Security is looking for a fit and attentive security guard to ensure that our property is protected. The security guard is responsible for recording the names of visitors, patrolling the property and apprehending any trespassers.
To be successful as a security guard you must be alert and professional. A good security guard is aware of all visitors to the property and ensures that no inappropriate actions take place.

Security Guard Responsibilities:
- Ensure that guests sign in upon arrival and exit.
- Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to.
- Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
- Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
- Report to supervisors on a regular basis.
- Record any suspicious activities to the supervisor.
Security Guard Requirements:
- A high school qualification or equivalent.
- A qualification in security training.
- Basic first aid skills would be advantageous.
- Physical strength and fitness.
- Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous.
- Attention to detail.

Locations: Bradford, Ontario
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ability to travel to various sites/ locations per day.
- Patrolling in a variety of sites/locations (mobile and foot).
- Assist with Fire & Life Safety inspections.
- Respond effectively to alarm responses and client calls.
- Complete site and officer inspections.
- Enforcing property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws.
- Ability to maintain and enforce access control procedures.
- Maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt with using the standard report-writing program.
- Responding to various types of emergencies.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.
- Proven, excellent observational and reporting skills.
Must Have:
- 1+ years’ Experience is a related position required.
- A valid security guard license and first aid card.
- A valid driver’s license (Full G license).
- Have a clear criminal background and driving record. (Must provide current driver abstract).
- Must meet our insurance company requirements.
- Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19 – 2 minimum doses.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
