What DOES Google’s INTERNSHIP INVOLVE?
As a software engineering Intern at Google, you’ll dive headfirst into the company’s core products and services, tackling challenges that power Google’s technological prowess.
This role offers a chance to contribute to essential functions of Google’s engineering operations. Your tasks may include enhancing search quality, developing computing platforms and networking technologies, automating video indexing, or optimizing complex auction systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
- Enrollment in an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program with a focus on software development or a related technical field.
- Experience in software development.
- Coding proficiency in one or more languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with data structures or algorithms.
- Exposure to web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, or security software development.
- Availability for full-time work for at least 6 months outside of university term time.
- Fluent communication in English.
