Program Overview

To receive and send goods to and from our warehouse, Tenold Transportation Ltd. is looking for a motivated Warehouse Stores Person. Outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles will be loaded and unloaded by the warehouse storeperson.

You will pick out products from the warehouse, put them onto pallets, secure them, convey the inventory to the delivery location, and load the goods. You will unload merchandise from delivery vehicles, carry it to specific warehouse places, and store it there.

You will adhere to all applicable safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and keep your workplace neat and orderly at all times.

You must be able to operate in an organized manner and follow directions in order to succeed. The ideal candidates are motivated, diligent, and excellent problem-solvers.

A position has become available for a Warehouse Stores Person based in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. ***Only candidates residing in Quebec City will be considered for the position***

Position Overview:

The warehouse stores person position entails monitoring and managing job statuses, coordinating with colleagues, receiving and processing deliveries, scanning materials, preparing orders, inputting data, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment, among other duties.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and ship product
  • Minimal duties requiring forklift operation/Stand up reach truck.
  • Daily inspection of forklift equipment to ensure optimum condition is maintained. Report any deficiencies to Manager.
  • Scan out materials using handheld scanners
  • Assist customer employees and maintain good relationships
  • Respond to emails left from the previous day after 4:00 pm in a timely and professional manner.
  • Daily cycle counts to ensure min/max levels are maintained
  • General housekeeping,
  • Monthly inspection of facility to maintain safe worksite
  • Emergency after hours call out
  • Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of warehousing experience – picking & packing
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in scanning, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory records
  • Previous forklift experience with valid certification. Sit-down counterbalance plus stand up reach truck preferred
  • Must be bondable
  • Good computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, IMS, TMS and SAP
  • Comfortable working independently, making decisions and resolving problems.
  • Good interpersonal skills to maintain a positive relationship with coworkers, internal stakeholders, and technicians
