Program Overview

Edmonton Pump Service provide excellent customer service while greeting customers and preparing vehicles for the car wash. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and functional operation to keep customers happy and the car wash in optimal condition. Arriving and clocking in with plenty of time. Always represent the company in an honorable and ethical manner on and off the time clock.

Edmonton Pump Service Job Duties:

• Greeting customers and assisting at the entrance of the car wash lanes
• Prepare each vehicle before it enters the tunnel
• Maintain positive customer relations, including greeting customers, answering questions, offering product selection choices, and assisting customers in a timely fashion. Offering additional services such as Monthly Wash Plan (FastPass), wash books, and/or upgrades
• Notifying customers of upcoming events, deals, and our fundraiser program
• Observing each vehicle for damage or loose parts before it enters the wash
• Ensure defect-free cleaning by removing all conditions that can be removed prior to sending the vehicle through the automatic equipment
• Accurately handle cash / credit transactions and enter transactions at the terminal

We are currently recruiting for a Petroleum & Car Wash Service Technician (Single or Dual Focus) to join our team in Alberta. As this position works through Alberta we are flexible on home base: Edmonton, Calgary, Central Alberta, Grande Prairie & Peace Region, Ft. McMurray, etc. If you are talented and great with customers, then we will adapt around your location.

The selected individual will be responsible for traveling to customer locations throughout Alberta, to provide maintenance and repair services for petroleum dispensing equipment, car wash and related equipment. Strong knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting petroleum equipment, having electrical knowledge and expertise. TSSA and/or CPCA certified would be an asset but not required.

Suitable candidates will meet the following qualifications:

• Must be mechanically inclined
• Minimum High School Education; Post-secondary education in electronics or equivalent experience would be considered an asset
• Previous Mechanical or Electrical Experience including certified tradespeople would be considered an asset
• High energy, self-motivated and must have a positive attitude
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Must be able to excel in team setting when required
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Strong Customer Service Experience with the ability to multi-task
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
• Must be willing to travel and be prepared to work on-call (rotation) and overtime
• Training will be provided
