DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

1. Register fixed assets in GSM. 2. Ensure that office assets are bar-coded and regular physical count is performed.3. Ensure that the office premises and furniture are kept in proper condition 4. Arrange repair/maintenance when required. 5. In cooperation with EURO Regional Office oversee fixed assets verification in the CO when needed6. Act as fixes assets focal point for the CO7. Coordinate regular maintenance of buildings maintained by WHO. 8. Coordinate maintenance of backup generator for the main office.9. Perform any other related duties, as required by the functional supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: Equivalent to graduation from secondary school or technical or commercial school.
Desirable: Higher education from an accredited educational institution an asset.

Experience

Essential: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the inventory management field.
Desirable: Experience in an international environment or institution. Relevant experience in WHO or in the UN.

Skills

Sound organization and wide range of office skills. Sound knowledge of using office and computerpackages, ability to multitask, to work under pressure and independently when required.Demonstrated ability to provide sound methodological, technical advice and guidance in travel processes. Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills. Ability to work in complex national or international settings Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings and excellent inter-personal skills. Ability to monitor and communicate progress in terms of process and results.Excellent communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills.
