Program Overview

The International English Language Testing System, popularly known as IELTS an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers is often required when one is migrating to a foreign country such as Australia, Canada, USA and New Zealand with English as a dominant language. It simply tests whether or not you will be able to communicate in an English speaking country.

In order to attain a scholarship in Canada without IELTS, you will need to have any one of the following:

• TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) result with a score 80 (on line) or 550 (paper-based)
• MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Batter) with a score of 80
• CAEL CE (Computer Edition): minimum Score 40
• Duolingo: minimum score of 85
• PTE (Pearson Test of English) (Academic) with a minimum 50 overall
• Minimum of 3 years of full time study at a school where medium of instruction is English. A letter from the institution or the transcript justifying the medium of instruction must be submitted for evaluation.

Alberta University Scholarship

Alberta University is ranked in the top 150 best universities in the world and it is offering an IELTS free scholarship for the 2023 academic year. The scholarship covers the following programs: Agricultural Life and Environmental Sciences,Alberta School of Business,Fine Arts and Humanities, Science, Social Sciences, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine & Dentistry, Native Studies, Nursing ,Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Rehabilitation Medicine and Science.

Concordia University Scholarships

Scholarships are being offered in undergraduate, graduate and doctorate programs in various disciplines. The university is offering a number of IELTS free scholarships such as the Concordia Presidential Scholarship, Concordia Merit Scholarship and Entrance scholarships amoung others.
