World Bank (EAP) Program Overview

The EAP Inclusive Fellowship Program is designed to introduce a diverse and inclusive group of qualified professionals to the World Bank by offering hands-on opportunities to contribute to development work in the EAP region. Selected candidates will be able to improve their own skills in a diverse environment dedicated to ending extreme poverty and boosting prosperity and will also benefit from:

(i) opportunities for onboarding and training;

(ii) networking, mentoring and coaching from World Bank staff 

(iii) being a part of one of the most reputable development banks in the world.

The EAP Inclusive Fellowship Program is targeted to highly motivated and qualified individuals from the EAP region, please find a list of specific countries below. Minorities of these countries are encouraged to apply. The program will partner with key stakeholders and academic institutions in the region to attract a talented pool of candidates and to help build the program.  

The second cohort will start in January 2023. The length of the contracts will be six months. 

Selected candidates will be offered short-term consultancy contracts (STC2) with the World Bank. The call for EAP Fellows launched on October 6th, 2022 and selection will be finalized in November-December 2022.

Requirements to apply:

To be considered for the EAP Inclusive Fellowship Program applicants must:

  • Have enthusiasm for working in multicultural teams and across borders

The World Bank will accept applications through the below link from October 6th until November 6th, 2022. Hiring decisions by the hiring departments expect to be made in November/December 2022 when job offers will be made.
