As a result of the new Policy on concurrent enrollments, the educational and training institutions will not be permitted to enroll concurrently students who have not finished the first six months of their main course. This modification has no effect on students who are already enrolled in concurrent courses.
According to a recent declaration by the Australian government, international students are no longer allowed to enroll in two courses concurrently within the first six months of their primary course of study. Concurrent enrollment for international students during the first six months of study is currently prohibited as a result of this.

A student who enrolls in numerous award courses at the university is said to be enrolled concurrently. Concurrent enrollment allows a student to sign up for two programs at once. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility standards outlined in the enrollment manual in order to be eligible to enroll in more than one program at once.
The educational and training institutions will not be able to enroll concurrently students who have not finished the first six months of their primary course due to the new regulations on concurrent enrollments. Students taking concurrent courses already are unaffected by this update.
Standard 7 of the National Code states that students may not transfer within the first six months of their primary course of study. This clause protects the rights of both students and providers. Students cannot enroll concurrently if their primary course has not been completed for six months. The ESOS Act National Code 2018 requires education and training institutions to accept or deny petitions for release during the six-month transfer restriction period.
Concurrent enrollment is only allowed for those who have the required approval or whose course is an approved part of a combined or double degree. Your overall study load while enrolled in both degrees concurrently cannot be greater than that of a full-time student.
You must submit your application after the results of the current semester have been released but before the start of the semester you desire to enroll in concurrently. If you submit your application before the results are out, it will be rejected, and you will have to reapply. The application process varies between faculties and schools.
