Interview Trainer Job duties:
Location: This job is remote
Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time
Students: Undergraduate students/high school students
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct online lectures (live) through carefully prepared lesson plans that include analysis of college admissions programs, and requirements, and summaries of questions corresponding to school and program interviews.
- Work with students to analyze and understand their needs and weaknesses, and help them to be able to present their strengths as well as requirements in school interviews through interview training
- Assist students in editing their application documents and materials to reflect better the requirements of the schools they are applying to and to emphasize their strong points.
- Collaborate with students and school administrators to identify student needs, determine areas for improvement, develop lesson plans, and assess student progress
- Provide positive and constructive feedback to students.
Qualifications and skills:
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience in revising application materials and mentoring students for admissions interviews
- Thorough knowledge of school recruitment and process, and expertise in interview preparation.
- Flexibility and creativity are required to give each learner a personalized learning experience.
- Patience and compassion with students. Ability to motivate and help students build confidence and complete interview training.
- Ability to teach students at different levels and create customized training programs appropriate to each student’s needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain challenging concepts, provide instructions and offer feedback.
- Have strong organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong reflective, analytical, and summarizing skills.
- Prior tutoring experience at a college/university or high school level is preferred.
- Have a computer with a reliable internet connection.
- English required.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Salary: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
