As an Arts and science student, you have access to a variety of funding opportunities offered by the University of Toronto and its faculties, colleges, and academic divisions. These student awards (scholarships and grants) recognize academic excellence and may also consider financial need, community involvement, leadership, creativity, and other qualities.

2. Automatic Entrance Scholarships

U of T Scarborough Entrance Scholarships for Domestic Students 2022-2023

Domestic students (Canadian citizens and permanent residents) applying from secondary school who are admitted to U of T Scarborough will automatically be considered for scholarships.

U of T Scarborough Entrance Scholarships for International Students 2022-2023

International students applying from secondary school who are admitted to U of T Scarborough will automatically be considered for scholarships. International applicants are highly encouraged to complete the International Financial Aid Profile, which is available in the JOIN U of T portalOpens an external site in a new window.

These awards will make a significant contribution towards tuition, Student Housing and Residence Life, and other fees. Open an external site in a new window, however, students must be able to pay the balance of their expenses. You will need to develop a realistic financial plan to fund your studies throughout your time at U of T Scarborough.

Scholarship decisions will be communicated to successful applicants before the deadline to accept an offer of admission.

Scholarships

All high school applicants to U of T Engineering are automatically considered for Faculty-specific admission scholarships when they apply. Applicants are considered for scholarships on the basis of academic excellence and extracurricular involvement as demonstrated in the Online Student Profile. Engineering applicants may also be considered for university-wide scholarships, for which a separate application is required.
