Program Overview
New Zealand are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team to take care of our clients in a professional manner.
As a Caregiver, you will have to be available for most of the day to plan and follow clients with the daily care schedule. You will also modify it as prescribed by the medical experts.
You will be highly praised and thanked for assisting clients who are injured, elderly or disabled people. We ensure you that this job will itself be quite satisfying and rewarding. You should be a patient individual and friendly with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Help and guide the daily activities of the patients with physical therapy exercises
- Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
- Ensure that patients feel safe and comfortable.
- Provide help in the preparation of a meal as and when required.
- Perform housekeeping tasks that the patients are unable to do themselves.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients when necessary.
- Examine the patient’s medication and update health charts.
- Assist with personal care aides which may be activities such as bathing, bathroom functions, grooming, dressing, and eating.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a Caregiver, Nurse, Social Worker or a similar role in the Healthcare Industry.
- Outstanding knowledge of emergency response and First Aid (CPR).
- Willingness to work for flexible hours which may include night shifts.
- Stay responsible and active in case of an emergency.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Should be a quick decision-maker.
- Great time management and physical endurance.
- Experience in housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
- Will to bond to health and safety standards with home care.
- Strong ethics and compassion for people.
- A keen eye on details.
- Confident individual.
