Eligibility Criteria to Apply for the Netherlands Job Seeker Visa

Situation 1: You carried out research in the past 3 years. You had a residence permit in the Netherlands for research purposes.

Situation 2: You obtained a master’s degree in the past 3 years in the context of an Erasmus Mundus Masters Course.

Situation 3: You completed one of the following study programs in the past 3 years:

  • An accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program at a Dutch higher education institution.
  • A post-master program in the Netherlands for at least one academic year (at least 10 months).
  • A study program in the Netherlands in the context of the Cultural Policy (Special-Purpose Funding) Act.
  • A study program in the Netherlands in the context of the development cooperation policy of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Situation 4:

You must have completed a master’s degree program, a doctoral program, or a post-master program from a Designated Foreign Educational Institution.

How to Apply for the Netherlands Job Seeker Visa 2023?

Application Process for the Netherlands Job Seeker Visa:

Step 1: Read the Requirements for MVV. A valid MVV (Type D Sticker) visa is needed. This will allow you to travel to the Netherlands and collect a residence permit from there.

Step 2: Collect Documents. The application form lists which documents you need. Collect all documents before you apply.

Step 3: Apply: You apply for the MVV and the residence permit at the same time at the Dutch representation (embassy or consulate) abroad.
