Introduction

In order to address the scarcity of construction workers in Australia, the Australian government launched the Construction Visa Subsidy Program. This construction program welcomes all workers with construction industry experience to meet the need for a competent labor force. You have to build houses, roads, bridges, towers, buildings, etc. in construction occupations. Any candidate chosen for this program will receive financial assistance totaling $10,000. It pays for all of their out-of-country expenses, including airfare, agent fees, and visa fees.

What Occupation Required for CVSP

For the Construction Visa Subsidy Program (CVSP) applicants must be qualified in electricians architects, surveyors, bricklayers, Engineers, and more fields. Western Australian employers hire only those foreign workers who have trained in one of these fields. You can see the occupation jobs list here.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only CVSP employers will sponsor applicants for one of these visas (482, 494, or 186) as skilled workers.
• The sponsored CVSP employee must have an office in Western Australia and be constructing a building there.
• Visas must be granted by the WA State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP). The following visa subclasses are 190 or 491.

How to Apply

First, you register yourself in the WA registration form. When registered, the WA service provider will publish all your details to the migrant employer register. When an employer needs a worker, WA service providers will give all your contact information to the migrant. The migrant employer contacts the worker and if you satisfy the employer he offers you a job.
