Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for the right person, to fill our team of experienced IT professionals. Someone who is passionate about technology, versatile, and skilled to support our client base.

Our next tech support team member will join us as a full-time employee. Will be willing to do help desk/end-user support through our Managed services/ticketing platform, as well as work with our senior techs on network installations and migrations. You must be able to learn fast and do some jobs independently. We are seeking an individual who is a problem-solver and is able to successfully address user computing issues. Someone who is accustomed to leveraging technical training opportunities to improve their skills. Our Service Desk Technicians are responsible for maintaining user uptime and improving their computing experiences through remote monitoring, maintenance, problem identification, and resolution activities with friendly customer service.

The Position of Service Desk Technician Entails:

  • Utilize system deployment and remote connectivity tools efficiently and effectively to provide support to clients in a timely manner
  • Field incoming requests from a ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot user problems over the phone and with remote control technologies for both hardware and software issues
  • Participate in the onsite rollout of new PCs and Notebooks
  • Create new “base images” for various hardware platforms
  • Assist senior technical staff with on-site installations of PCs, printers, servers, network switches, IP cameras, IP phones systems, network cabling, etc.,
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing backups, and configuring systems and applications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
  • The ability to manage, maintain, troubleshoot and support our clients’ networks
  • Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources locally and on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
  • Participate in ongoing training and attainment of manufacturer certifications,

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with clients and vendors.
  • Ability to explain technical items in non-technical, understandable terms
  • A problem solver and a good troubleshooter
  • Tech savvy
  • Be willing to do a variety of tasks
  • Be able to learn from other tech staff and progress their skills
  • Legally able to work in Canada
  • G2 driver’s license and vehicle
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to work at heights of 20ft
  • Strong communication skills (English written and verbal)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Have at least 2yrs experience.

Benefits include 2 weeks of paid vacation and all statutory holidays. Training. Summer hours close at 2:30 pm on Fridays. Our compensation plans are commensurate with relevant experience, certifications and performance.

Salary: $52,650.00-$69,650.00 per year
