Program Overview
Plumbing Service Technicians are responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining the piping systems that deliver water, gas and sewage to our homes and businesses. They also commonly install heating and cooling systems, faucets, toilets and other fixtures in buildings.
Plumbers must have a wide range of skills and knowledge to do their job effectively. They need to be able to read blueprints and diagrams, understand how various plumbing systems work together, and know how to use specialized tools and equipment. Plumbers may also be called upon to repair or replace damaged sections of pipe or fixtures.

Plumber Technician Job Duties
Plumbers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Installing, repairing and maintaining pipes used for plumbing systems such as water supply lines, waste disposal lines, and gas lines
- Inspecting plans and drawings of plumbing layouts to determine feasibility and ensure codes are met
- Installing new plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, shower heads, and bidets
- Diagnosing plumbing problems and identifying solutions by reviewing blueprints, sketches, and other plans
- Installing and maintaining heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings
- Performing basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, flushing lines, repairing leaks, replacing washers, and repairing faucets
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure that design plans meet code requirements
- Installing ductwork and other materials needed for ventilation systems
- Installing gas lines and fittings using hand tools such as wrenches and soldering equipment

CE Plumbing & Heating is currently looking for a 3rd/4th year apprentice and Journeyman Plumbing Service technician who has a great attitude, a great team player with great attention to detail and exceptional customer service. A fast growing company with lots of room for growth within the company.
